The Help

I finished reading The Help at about 3:30 this morning, then I had to wake up at 6:15 to take my husband to work. My mind was still buzzing with the book, which I had started just three days ago, and I had been waiting to see the movie forever, so as soon as I got home, I made coffee, and found a website where I could view the movie for free without downloading.

I have to say, the movie was great, but I was so happy I waited to see it until after reading the book, because there were definitely a couple of major plot changes, and lots of details were missing, naturally.  

Either way, I'm really happy I finally got through the book and the movie, and I'm looking forward to getting through a couple more titles on my "to read" list before vacation is over.  I have 7 days left, and I plan to enjoy every minute.
